A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME

I’m a German-Japanese half-breed, so naturally I speak English and Japanese natively, but know only a few words of German. Which is sad because I think German is a sexy language.

The first critically recognized 3D work that I was a part of was an animated short called “Toilet Story”, which I produced while getting my Associates of Science in New Media Arts at Kapiolani Community College in Hawaii. It premiered to rave reviews at the Hawaii International Film Festival.

I worked in high fashion for 10 years, deepening my appreciation for the unmatched craftsmanship of the world’s top brands. And what girl doesn’t like a little Chanel, Gucci, and Dior?

I love animals, especially birds! I have shared my life with over 30 of our feathered friends (rescues and companions) throughout my life. My current companion (besides my partner) are Green Cheeked Conures named Greedo and Solo.

Yes, I left a good career in Hawaii to come to Vancouver and pursue film. Yes, people thought I was crazy.

Constantly bettering myself drives me. I’m so much better today than I was when I arrived in Vancouver, and will be able to say the same thing in another two years.

I love Star Wars. I realize the movies aren’t perfect (what ever is?), but the universe is amazing!

Halloween is my favorite holiday, followed closely by Thanksgiving. Which makes living in Canada great, because I can enjoy two a year.
