"Beer atop a Skyscraper" is a compositing project that was inspired by "Lunch atop a Skyscraper", the iconic photograph of construction workers eating lunch high above New York City while constructing 30 Rockefeller Centre in 1932.
An image of the NYC skyline sunset that I loved served as a base for my project. I shot green screen footage of two of my friends, created camera projection on the sunset image to give the city depth, then built and textured the 3D model of the beam/column. The final step composited all of the elements together, and a lens flare completed the mood.
“Fetch” is my short film I did at school about a young man and his unorthodox companion looking for a connection, and maybe something more. See more of the short film in the “Fetch” tab.
